DAN FREEMAN
Dan Freeman is a native of Heuvelton, New York and holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, New York and a Master of Music - Brass Performance - from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. He has been teaching in the public schools for thirteen years where his groups have consistently received Superior ratings in state and local festivals. He has been at Lake Braddock for the past two years. He has held offices in both the New York State Music Educators Association and the Maryland Music Educators Association. He is/has been a performing member of the Burke Brass Quintet, the Capitol Wind Symphony, the Mount Vernon Symphony Orchestra, and Swing Shift (a local jazz band). He has been elected to Pi Kappa Lambda Music Honor Fraternity and is a member of MENC and VMEA. He now resides in Annandale, Virginia with his wife Tammy, another music educator, and his son Noah
