Did you ever wonder what all the ALUMxx words meant? Me, too. In fact, when I started these pages, I THOUGHT I knew what I was talking about, but a short trip to Webster proved to be most embarrassing. called alumni! Confused? So was I! Oh well!

Terms for graduate/s or former student/s of a specific school, college, or university:
A male graduate is an alumnus (plural alumni)
A female graduate is an alumna (plural alumnae)
When referring to male and female graduates together, the masculine form alumni is used.
